Stitch Sloth User Service Agreement

Stitch Sloth provides tools and resources for the needlepoint community, including:

• • A platform to manage thread and fiber inventories.
• • A community for connecting with other needlepoint enthusiasts.
• • Access to the StitchBook feature for project management.
• • Exclusive content and advanced tools for paid members.

• • Registration: You must create an account to access certain features of the Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• • Termination: Stitch Sloth reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement.

• • Free Users: Limited access to the community and StitchBook features (up to 3 projects).
• • Advanced Users (Paid Membership): Full access to all features, including a comprehensive fiber inventory system, full StitchBook access, and visibility into other members' fibers and stitches.

• • Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you post, upload, or share through the Services (“User Content”).
• • License: By sharing User Content, you grant Stitch Sloth a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content to provide and promote the Services.
• • Prohibited Content: You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of others, including copyrighted materials.

You agree not to:

• • Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
• • Violate or infringe on the rights of others.
• • Disrupt or interfere with the functionality of the Services.
• • Access the Services using automated means (e.g., bots or scrapers).

• • Fees: Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
• • Billing: By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stitch Sloth to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.
• • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Your access to paid features will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.

At Stitch Sloth, we respect and uphold copyright laws to protect the needlework community, designers, and publishers. By using our platform, you agree to follow these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in account suspension or termination.
Copyright DO's:

• • Photograph your completed needlework projects and share them online, crediting the designer or publisher with the full name of the piece, and their name.
• • Donate completed needlework or sell it on a small scale (e.g., bazaars, charity auctions) as long as it is not mass-produced.
• • Share tips, and photos of completed work online. Avoid sharing unauthorized scans or digital copies of designs.

Copyright DON'Ts:

• • Do not make a personal copy of a chart or pattern and share the original with someone else.
• • Do not scan or create electronic copies of charts, patterns, or leaflets without explicit permission from the copyright holder.
• • Do not share scanned patterns, instructions, or any part of a design online unless you created it.
• • Do not alter or combine parts of copyrighted designs to create new works for sale or distribution without explicit permission.
• • Do not mass-produce items from a pattern for commercial purposes without written consent or a licensing agreement with the copyright holder.
• • Do not reproduce copyrighted patterns under the guise of “fair use” or “educational purposes.”

Stitch Guides and Photographs:

• • Do not photograph or share any part of a stitch guide or instructional material without explicit permission from the copyright holder
• • Do not post or distribute stitch guides online in any format without authorization.
